Burger Cooking Instructions

Who doesn’t love grillin’ burgs? It’s the quintessential summer rite of passage. And when cooked on the fryer, burgers make for a great winter meal as well.

Here we’ll show you how to cook up our plant-based burgers, from the fiery Smokin’ Burger to our Butcher’s Select Flippin’ Burger. Once you get that flip right, there’s no better feeling.

Smokin Burgers

How to Cook Instructions

Grilling: Grill for 4-6 minutes turning occasionally. For best results use a basting liquid. We like to use 50% BBQ Sauce, 30% rootbeer, 20% oil, salt and pepper. Baste the patties each time that they are turned to ensure that they stay moist and delicious. Ensure burgers are piping hot before serving.

Oven: Set oven to 375C brush with oil, salt and pepper. Cook for 10-12 minutes turning halfway through the cooking time. You can marinate the burgers beforehand with your favourite marinade for a different flavour each time.

Stovetop: Brush both sides of the patties with your favourite marinade. We like to use 50% BBQ Sauce, 30% rootbeer, 20% oil, salt and pepper. Cook for 4-6 mins turning halfway through the cooking time to baste. Ensure burgers are piping hot before serving.

Flippin' Good Burgers

How to Cook Instructions

Thaw in the refrigerator before cooking.

Pan Fry: Heat an oiled pan on medium-high and cook for 6-7 minutes, turning once halfway through.

Grilling: Heat to 500 F and grill for 6-7 minutes, turning once halfway through. Cooking time may vary depending on equipment. Always cook to an internal temperature of 165 F.
