You might be thinking, Jack who? Well we'd like to cordially introduce you to one of our closest friends, jackfruit (don't tell Bertie). It's the perfect plant-based replacement because of it's meat-like texture and ability to take on any flavour you throw at it.

Just remove from the package and heat. It's as simple as that to create a messy, saucy, tangy sandwich that will have you licking your fingers (and your bibs). Or, throw it on top of a pizza, mac and cheese, or tacos for a Very Good spin. It's so good, you'll likely fool a few meat-eaters into thinking they're chowing down on more than plants.

BBQ Pulled Jackfruit: just like Pulled Pork , but vegan - so tasty!

VeryGood Butcher's BBQ pulled jackfruit tastes amazingly like pulled pork. While eating this, I can't tell the difference from the meat version. It's a healthy way to get the taste without slaughtering a pig.

    Macaroni and Jackfruit is great!

This BBQ jackfruit tasted so similar to a bit of BBQ’d pulled pork, which I first heated then mixed into some Mac n cheese with peas, as a quick kid-friendly dinner that the kids ate right up. This was a new food to our family and it was interesting how easy it was to accept as a meat-substitute, even for my meat-eating husband.

    Jackfruit

We made the crab cake recipe from your website with the pulled jackfruit and were so impressed. We wouldn’t have known we weren’t eating crab. Great. Products even for those of us just trying to have a few meatless days. More Gluten free products would be great.
